6/19/15 – Adam Shaw

I’m heading out early today, so this will be a little shorter than usual, but I actually got a good amount done. Primarily, using a combination of swift extensions, and a 3 line python code, I was able to reproduce Vidushi’s “makeDictFromData” file in an extremely small and low impact format. My form takes advantage of the eval() statement in python, and so I had to go into the dictionary type in swift and change how it printed itself so it printed like a python dictionary. Now It is incredibly lightweight and self contained in a master class I am calling DataAnalyzer. This class will contain all the information about a data set, including ID, rawData, endIndex v. accel, wordLength v. accel, longestWord v. accel, and any other data we want to extract from it.
